I was recently asked “hey… you’re an Exchange guy. How do you create an Outlook rule that includes wildcards?” I admitted that I had never been asked that before, but was very interested in in the answer. I started playing with Outlook, trying different wildcard statements, but to no avail. I did find however that right in the interface, I was able to solve the problem. You can configure the rules to look for “text” which was extensive enough to accomplish the goal of having multiple names, or differing content in the subject or email address fields.
