BROOKFIELD, WI—October 30, 2018 — Brookfield-based technology consulting firm Concurrency, Inc. is donating to the “Light the Hoan” campaign, dedicating 200 bulbs in honor of its employees.

The group Light the Hoan is raising funds to light up Milwaukee’s iconic Hoan Bridge, with a vision that each bulb will represent a positive Milwaukee story.

“Our story is about making sure Milwaukee businesses stay competitive nationally and globally,” said James Savage, Concurrency’s founder and President. “Since 1989 our business model has focused on collecting the best and brightest minds in IT. Two hundred light bulbs shining brightly over the Milwaukee harbor will honor their hard work helping organizations fulfill their business objectives.”

Concurrency helps Midwest organizations get past barriers that hold them back. These include lack of technology specialization, uncertainty about data privacy and security needs, and reluctance to embrace the digital transformation that’s needed to stay competitive in fast-changing industries.

Savage said, “For almost thirty years our employees have been proving wrong the assumption that a legacy manufacturing city such as Milwaukee lacks the tech talent to keep up on the global stage.”

“Our employees make a positive difference in our community every day,” said Kate Weiland, Chief People Officer at Concurrency. “Lighting up the Hoan Bridge in their honor is a fitting tribute to their part in making this region thrive.”
