Microsoft MVP's at Concurrency

Author by Shannon Fritz

Just a few days ago Microsoft notified the recipients of their 2012 Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for "outstanding contributions to the technical community".  I am also very pleased to share that out of the 975 people in the world that are MVP's this year, two of them work here in Concurrency's Infrastructure practice: my boss, Nathan Lasnoski and myself, Shannon Fritz.  Here's some highlights on the awards given.

Nathan Lasnoski

  • MVP awarded for Virtual Machine (Hyper-V)
  • There are only 56 MVP's listed in this specialty
  • View Online Profile
  • Infrastructure Team Lead and now 3 time recipient of the award

Shannon Fritz

  • MVP awarded for Forefront (UAG DirectAccess)
  • There are only 29 MVP's listed in this specialty
  • View Online Profile
  • First time recipient, one of only 144 new MVP's in the world this year.

Being my first time, I am particularly excited and want to thank my wife who puts up with me pouring so much time into my work, those who liked my involvement enough to nominate me, as well as the my employer who really gave me the opportunities and encouragement to pursue the things I am interested in.
