While writing the
UAG DirectAccess Configuration Guide I was working pretty regularly with
Ben Ari from Microsoft to help do some fact checking and troubleshooting. Through that process I discovered that he and Ran Dolev have co-authoring a new book called the
Microsoft Forefront UAG 2010 Administrator's Handbook. It is due for publication very soon but you can
pre-order the printed book and even get the first 7 chapters now in RAW (read as we write) PDF from PacktPublishing at a pretty serious discount. At ~350 pages this "handbook" covers more than just the DirectAccess components of UAG and might be more of a "two-handbook" that will be a very comprehensive resource for anyone wanting to get serious about UAG.
For those of you looking for something a little lighter, there is another book called
Deploying Microsoft Forefront Unified Access Gateway 2010 that is co-authored by
Tom Schinder and
Yuri Diogenes which
you can also pre-order. This one, I believe, has a slightly narrower scope but is written by the same guy that brought us the TechNet series on
Deploying UAG in a Lab so here's your chance to get the production deployment guide in print.

From the tooting my own horn camp,
the Concurrency Infrastructure Blog will be listed as reference in the troubleshooting chapter of Ben and Ran's Handbook! Yay us!
